Are you looking for a running club to join? We have active run groups in North, South, East, and  West parts of Austin.

All run group members must have a completed waiver on file. Please review and acknowledge the waiver here.

The Morning Jo’s prides themselves on embodying “All Faces, All Paces,” and Rachel and Cameron lead with safety and inclusivity as the driving values for the group! You’ll be welcomed by hundreds of friendly runners and walkers, bright and early each and every Tuesday, for an out-and-back three-to-six mile run through the Capital and the University of Texas. Jo’s Coffee invites runners to socialize afterwards which typically goes until 7:30 A.M.

When: Tuesdays at 6:00 A.M.

Hills! Elevation! A GREAT Time! 5run2 brings together runners from across the city to conquer the infamous Barton Hills and in the process, encourages runners to “Be a Run Boss!” In addition to the Wednesday runs, Jamie and PJ are known for hosting occasional weekend preview runs to prepare runners for local races. They collaborate with the local community to activate and elevate fitness, health, and wellness resources for everyone. Just when you think the group couldn’t be any better – 5run2 is always keeps up with the NOW by having some of the freshest gear drops in Austin.

When: Wednesdays at 6:30 A.M.

What: 5K or 5-Mile Routes through Barton Hills

East Side Beer Runners

Run, Beer, Repeat! ESBR is your crew if you love pounding pavement and crushing pints. They’re a laid-back run club, with a zero-drop rule, that welcomes runners of all paces and walkers too! You’ll get to explore different parts of Austin, followed by post-run discounted beers while making new friends on Wednesdays. On Sundays, ESBR becomes a trail group that explores different trailheads before meeting up for tacos, coffee, and/or donuts at local establishments.

Monday Night Run

Monday Night Run showcases the natural beauty of Far West and Shoal Creek. As one of the longest standing ARC-affiliated groups in the city, MNR strives to accommodate a range of paces regardless of running experience and background. MNR shares their routes via email and socials each week and can be reached by email, Instagram, or WhatsApp.

When: Mondays at 6:30 P.M.

North

RunATXNorth

RunATXNorth spearheads the running scene in North Austin and invites runners for a four-to-six mile run with options for longer runs. They invite runners from any experience to attend but typically land between nine-to-eleven minute paces. Additionally, RunATXNorth links up with various groups to participate in races to keep things exciting! They have coaches that provide fundamental training tips and are powered by Dicks Sporting Goods which offers special discounts and events with major running shoe brands.

When: Saturdays at 7:15 A.M.

Buda Running Club is packed with runners of different backgrounds and experiences that thrive on consistency with each other! Join BRC if you’re looking for a group of early birds for sunrise miles and smiles.

If you are wanting to add a bit of spice to your running schedule, Speedshop Mafia invites you to join them. In adding speed to your weekly running routine, Speedshop Mafia prevents monotonous running routines by aiming to improve your speed!

Where: Marshall Middle School Track
When: Tuesdays at 6:00 P.M.
What:

  • 1st Tuesday: Shorter Intervals & Strength/Mechanics (Example: 10-15 x 100M + Strength & Mobility)
  • 2nd Tuesday: 200M-800M Intervals
  • 3rd Tuesday: 200M-400M Hills
  • 4th Tuesday: Fartleks & Mileage-Oriented
  • Occasional 5th Tuesday: Time Trial

Twenty-Six Two’s mission is to support runners of any fitness level across Austin in half marathon and marathon training. As a non-profit organization with hundreds of runners, Twenty-Six Two keeps training accessible through free group runs and having supported long runs with hydration and routes.

Austin Triathlon Club is a social and training community for triathletes of a variety of ages and abilities from beginners to Ironman veterans. ATC is an official USAT registered club that organizes community workouts, social events, race support, triathlete panels, clinics, and have a range of discounts with local and national partners! If you are looking for diverse running workouts, but on top of that, swimming and cycling as well – then Austin Triathlon Club is the place for you!
