What is the mission of the Austin Runners Club?
The Austin Runners Club is a non-profit, volunteer organization with members of all ages and running and walking abilities. The club is organized exclusively for charitable, health, and educational purposes. The Austin Runners Club shall promote and encourage running, walking, wheelchair racing, and related activities in order to educate the public to their benefits. The Austin Runners Club shall maintain competitive and non-competitive activities for its membership and for the general public.
How do I join?
You can fill out our membership application and pay online, or you can print it out and bring it with a check to a group run.
What are the benefits of joining?

Does the club have real coaches?
Yes, there is a coach present at the weekday evening workouts as well as Saturday morning.
Do I have to be fast?
Nope. We welcome runners of all speeds. At any given workout, there will be runners of all different paces and distances. On Saturday mornings, there are pace leaders for paces from 7:00min/mi all the way to 12:00min/mi.
Is the club only for marathoners or runners?
Are you looking to improve your fitness level? Then you’re in! We welcome runners and walkers of all distances, as well as duathletes, triathletes, swimmers, and anyone looking for cross-training. You might even see the occasional ultimate frisbee fanatic.
